Unbox to first loaf · Beginner

Your First Rise Kit journey

Move from a box of essentials to a repeatable starter routine, then begin your first-loaf course.

LESSON 1 OF 4 · 7 min read

Unbox & make room

A good beginning is a clear workbench and an understanding of what each tool does.

Let’s work through it

  1. Check the kit contents against the supplied list. The proposed First Rise Kit includes dried starter, a proofing basket, bench and bowl scrapers, a dough whisk, a Rise & Ritual by Sol & Sahara Goods branded apron and hat, and printed guidance; final contents will be confirmed before sale.
  2. Set out your own scale, jar, bowl and ingredients. The basket supports the shaped dough during proofing; it never goes into the oven.
  3. Choose a stable location for your starter away from direct sun and heat sources. Label your jar with the date and leave plenty of room for expansion.

LEARN IT. TRY IT. MAKE IT YOURS.
