From one batch to a baking day

Plan equipment capacity, ingredient weighing and a practical order of work.

LESSON 2 OF 4 · 6 min read

Weigh and label with purpose

Good preparation prevents one formula’s ingredients from ending up in another bowl.

Go to guided practice & lesson check

Let’s work through it

  1. Set out separate labeled containers for each bake. Include the formula name and any held-back ingredient.
  2. Check weights before combining. Keep salt, leaveners and small additions visibly accounted for.
  3. Clean the work area between projects and track allergen-containing ingredients so they are not confused.

LEARN IT. TRY IT. MAKE IT YOURS.
